Every Class to obtain your permit shall include:

1. about four hours of law and four hours of firearms training on:

2. handgun safety, care cleaning and marksmanship

3. Range firing at a silhouette target with 20 rounds with 11 rounds being in the silhouette at 7 yards

4. Information on the laws relating to concealed carry under KRS 237 which is the law on your permit who may possess a firearm under KRS 503, and the law under KRS 527 which is the law on self defense and the use of deadly force this is the area of Justifiable Homicide and Choice of Evils criminal defense statute and the civil liability which is being sued for assault and the civil defenses to being sued under KRS 527.    It is not required that you purchase our any item on the law for this class.  You shall receive adequate training in our classes to obtain the permit.  But the manual and audio specifically discuss these topics.  

A fraudulent application can be a state Class A misdeamenor and/or State and federal felony
