The Following is the concealed carry deadly weapons class outline. 50 rounds of factory ammunition will be needed to obtain CCDW permits.   A minimum of 20 rounds will be fired at 7 yards (21 feet) in order to pass the live fire range part of Concealed Carry test. The Concealed Carry class to obtain your permit has required video tapes you must view to obtain your CCDW permit.  It is possible to have the Concealed Carry class split into an  educational section and a range section and to have instruction at two times or in two places in a classroom and on a range. 

Remember you may also wish to take training after you qualify for your CCDW.  The NRA and other organizations have training on safety, marksmanship, and the legal liability under the law.  We offer a manual and audio on the law of self defense.  In a court of law you may be required to show that you had the knowledge and training of when you were allowed to shoot.

10-11am Use and Misuse of Firearms Video on KRS 503
11-12 am Safety Lecture in the classroom, at home and on the range Topics of securing your firearm v having it available
12-1am Lunch Lunch on your own
1-2am Principles of Marksmanship Lecture Weaver v Isosceles and other principles
2-3am Basic Pistol and Revolver Nomenclature and Function Education of parts cleaning and function
3-4am Live Fire Exercises and Cleaning your Weapon 20 rounds fired at 7 yards at a B21 target
4-5pm Written Test
