 Reciprocity is the right to carry a concealed weapon in other states which recognize and allows Kentucky citizens that use a concealed carry permit to use that permit in their state.  This is the map from the KSP which shows where you may carry in other states.  This map was current in early 2008.

Know reciprocity and concealed carry and self defense laws when you go to another state and especially know when where how and under what conditions you can use deadly force in self defense.    In order to obtain your Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons permit in Kentucky you must take a class of instruction from a concealed carry  instructor and file the Kentucky Concealed Carry permit application.
